South Carolina High School Softball - Woodmont holds off Riverside

Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Riverside Warriors (Greer, SC), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Mill for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 11. Woodmont will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Riverside (Greer, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Riverside falls to 10-13 on the campaign.
