The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Spearville Lancers (Spearville, KS) and the visiting Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS), saw Spearville's softball squad achieve victory over Stanton County by a count of 18-4.

The Lancers now sport a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medicine Lodge for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 10. Spearville will face a Indians squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Kingman (Kingman, KS). The Indians record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Stanton County falls to 1-11 on the campaign.
