The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Thornton for a SICA - South challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Thornwood will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 29-10 league win over Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Thornridge falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Kankakee (Kankakee, IL) to face the Kays in a Southland Athletic challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Kays enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Kankakee won 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL)
