Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Benton defeats Sullivan County

May 9, 2023: Benton, PA 17814

Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Benton Tigers (Benton, PA) and the visiting Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA), saw Benton's baseball squad knock off Sullivan County by a count of 9-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 15. Benton will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 4-8 record after their 4-0 league win over Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA).

The Griffins now possess a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbia Montour Vo-Tech for a Mid-Penn D4 battle on Thursday, May 11. Sullivan County will play a Rams squad coming off a 15-4 league loss to Millville (Millville, PA). The Rams record now stands at 4-13.
