Indiana High School Baseball - Mitchell holds off Brownstown Central

Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN), 8-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mitchell upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season. The Bluejackets travel to Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 10. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 14-3.

With the defeat, Brownstown Central falls to 16-6 on the season. The Braves travel to Charlestown (Charlestown, IN) to battle the Pirates in a Mid-Southern test on Thursday, May 11. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 12-6. Charlestown lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN)
