Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) and the host Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL), saw Centralia's baseball team get by Marion by a tally of 5-4.

The Orphans (15-10) will now prepare for their match against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Mules go into the non-league match with a 7-18 record. In their last match, Fairfield edged Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL), 13-1, in a non-league match.

The Wildcats (17-13) will now prepare for their match against Trico (Campbell Hill, IL). The Pioneers go into the non-league match with a 7-15 record. In their last match, Trico edged Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL), 8-0, in a non-league match.
