The Nokomis Warriors baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Hermon Hawks to 1 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Cony (Augusta, ME). The Rams go into the Class B North match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Cony tipped Leavitt (Turner, ME), 3-1, in a non-league match.
The Hawks (4-4) will now prepare for their match against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders go into the Class B North match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, John Bapst Memorial was overwhelmed by Washington Academy (East Machias, ME), 7-5, in a league match.
