Virginia High School Baseball - L.C. Bird nips Huguenot

L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA), 8-7 in a league test.

With the win, L.C. Bird upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Skyhawks host James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA) to battle the Rapids in a Dominion test on Thursday, May 11. The Rapids come into the test with a record of 16-2. James River Midlothian won 3-0 in their recent league test against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA)

With the defeat, Huguenot falls to 4-10 on the season. The Falcons travel to Manchester (Midlothian, VA) to battle the Lancers in a Dominion test on Thursday, May 11. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 10-6. Manchester won 16-0 in their recent league test against Wythe (Richmond, VA)
