The Ottawa Pirates baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Rochelle Hubs to 4 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.
The Pirates (16-13) will now prepare for their match against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 12-11 record. In their last match, Pontiac was overwhelmed by Eureka (Eureka, IL), 9-2, in a non-league match.
The Hubs (9-16) will now prepare for their match against Dixon (Dixon, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses go into the non-league match with a 17-6 record. In their last match, Dixon tipped Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL), 9-0, in a league match.
