The Classical Purples held off the host Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Purples now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coventry for a non-league test on Thursday, May 11. Classical will confront a Oakers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 4-8.

The Thunderbolts (5-7) will now prepare for their test against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers enter the non-league test with a 1-4 record.
