Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Coventry can't hold off North Kingstown

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting North Kingstown Skippers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Coventry Oakers.

The Skippers (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, La Salle Academy nudged Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Oakers encounter the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 11. Coventry will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Purples come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI).
