The Chargers go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league win over East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI).

With the loss, South Kingstown moves to 2-9 on the year. The Rebels host Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to battle the Chargers in a Division 1 (State) contest on Thursday, May 11. The Chargers go into the contest with a record of 9-4. Chariho lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI)
