The Wolcott Eagles lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Valley Regional Warriors to 9 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
With the win, Wolcott upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Eagles host Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 10. The Mountaineers go into the match with a record of 1-1.
With the defeat, Valley Regional drops to 1-10 on the season. The Warriors host Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to play the Wildcats in a Shoreline match on Wednesday, May 10. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 9-3. Old Lyme won 22-7 in their recent league match against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)
