Next, the Buffaloes face the Hays Indians (Hays, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 12. Garden City will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS).

The Redskins now have a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Dodge City for a Western Athletic challenge on Thursday, May 11. Liberal will face a Demons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Circle (Towanda, KS). The Demons record now stands at 10-4.
