Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 13-2 in a league test.

With the win, Helix upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Highlanders host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to battle the Foothillers in a test on Thursday, May 11. The Foothillers come into the test with a record of 7-15. Grossmont lost 8-4 in their recent league test against Santana (Santee, CA)

With the defeat, Steele Canyon falls to 7-16 on the season.
