The Matoaca Warriors baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Prince George Royals to 2 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Springers go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Highland Springs was overwhelmed by Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA), 8-2, in a non-league match.
The Royals (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials go into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Colonial Heights gained a win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA), 19-1, in a non-league match.
