Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host John Battle for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. Abingdon will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Ridgeview falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Lee (Jonesville, VA) to battle the Generals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 6-3.
