Virginia High School Softball - Tunstall knocked off by Halifax County

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), by a margin of 13-0.

With the triumph, Halifax County moves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Comets host Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 11. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 10-4. Patrick County won 17-1 in their recent non-league contest against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 12. Tunstall will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record.
