The South Vermillion Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Attica Red Ramblers to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South Vermillion moves its record to 13-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN) to clash with the Falcons in a Wabash River game on Wednesday, May 10. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 1-14. North Vermillion lost 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL)

In their next game, the Red Ramblers clash with the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a Wabash River game, on Saturday, May 13. Attica will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 14-7 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to North Putnam (Roachdale, IN).
