In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Bandys Trojans softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Brevard Blue Devils.

Coming up next, the Trojans battle the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 12. Bandys will attempt to advance on its 20-4 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 24-1 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC).

With the loss, Brevard falls to 14-7 on the campaign.
