Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Defenders now own a 18-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tates Creek for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. Bryan Station will battle a Commodores squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 13-15.

With the loss, Paul Laurence Dunbar falls to 1-18 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY) to battle the Thorobreds in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Thorobreds enter the challenge with a record of 20-7. Harrison County won 12-1 in their recent league match against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY)
