With the triumph, Butler County moves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY) to play the Patriots in a non-league contest on Friday, May 12. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 11-15. Allen County-Scottsville lost 6-5 in their recent non-league contest against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 11. Ohio County will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 9-11 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Henderson County (Henderson, KY).
