The Catholic (Baltimore, MD) softball routed the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 10-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Patriots go into the IAAM bout with a 11-2 record. In their last bout, John Carroll was routed by Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD), 9-2, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mount de Sales Academy for a IAAM bout on Tuesday, May 9. McDonogh will confront a Sailors squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Mercy (Baltimore, MD). The Sailors record now stands at 4-8.
