Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillsboro for a 5A Northwest Oregon challenge on Wednesday, May 10.

With the loss, Hood River Valley falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR) to battle the Wildcats in a 5A Northwest Oregon challenge on Friday, May 12. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 15-6. Wilsonville won 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Canby (Canby, OR)
