El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA), 20-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now own a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they host Valhalla for a Grossmont Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 10. El Cajon Valley will face a Norsemen squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over University City (San Diego, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 15-10.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Madison (San Diego, CA) to face the Warhawks in a City Central challenge on Friday, May 12. The Warhawks enter the challenge with a record of 16-4. Madison won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Kearny (San Diego, CA)
