Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA), 15-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Castle for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Shenango will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Western Beaver (Industry, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Freedom Area falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to face the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 15-0. Neshannock won 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA)
