The Greenville Lakers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Vinalhaven Vikings to 3 in the Lakers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Greenville moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Lakers travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to clash with the Howlers in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 10. The Howlers come into the game with a record of 5-0. Penobscot Valley won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against Penquis Valley (Milo, ME)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 11. Vinalhaven will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Bereans come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 26-2 non-league loss to Valley (Bingham, ME).
