Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hamilton Southeastern Royals (Fishers, IN), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Shamrocks now sport a 10-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton Heights for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Westfield will face a Huskies squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN). The Huskies record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Hamilton Southeastern falls to 14-6 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Richmond (Richmond, IN) to face the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 2-13. Richmond lost 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Kokomo (Kokomo, IN)
