The Governors now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host Westville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Hammond Morton will face a Blackhawks squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Hammond Central falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Griffith (Griffith, IN) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 7-9. Griffith lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN)
