The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA) and the host Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA), saw Hampton's softball squad achieve victory over Heritage by a count of 18-7.

The Crabbers now sport a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they host Surry County for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 10. Hampton will face a Cougars squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Heritage falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Hampton (Hampton, VA) to face the Crabbers in a Peninsula match on Thursday, May 11. The Crabbers enter the match with a record of 2-14. Hampton lost 21-11 in their recent non-league match against Surry County (Dendron, VA)
