Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Jefferson Eagles (Jefferson, WI), 8-1 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host McFarland for a Rock Valley challenge on Thursday, May 11. Turner will face a Spartans squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Clinton (Clinton, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Jefferson falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Big Foot (Walworth, WI) to face the Chiefs in a Rock Valley challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a record of 7-13. Big Foot won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Whitewater (Whitewater, WI)
