Virginia High School Softball - West Point felled by Mathews

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Mathews Blue Devils softball team scored a nice 20-0 win over the West Point Pointers.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils encounter the Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA) in a Tidewater outing, on Tuesday, May 16. Mathews will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 10-6 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA).

The Pointers (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Charles City (Charles City, VA). The Panthers enter the Tidewater outing with a 2-13 record. In their last outing, Charles City was routed by King William (King William, VA), 16-0, in a league outing.
