The McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA) softball routed the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA), 8-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Highlanders (16-6) will now prepare for their bout against Hoover (Fresno, CA). The Patriots go into the North Yosemite bout with a 5-12 record. In their last bout, Hoover toppled Sunnyside (Fresno, CA), 4-3, in a league bout.
The Rough Riders now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Fresno for a North Yosemite bout on Friday, May 12. Roosevelt will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Madera South (Madera, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-11.
