Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Parsippany Hills Vikings (Parsippany, NJ), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whippany Park for a Northwest Jersey - Liberty challenge on Thursday, May 11. Morris Catholic will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Madison (Madison, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Parsippany Hills falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ) to face the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
