Mount Horeb Vikings (Mount Horeb, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sauk Prairie Eagles (Prairie du Sac, WI), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 10-7 record.

With the loss, Sauk Prairie falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Monroe (Monroe, WI) to battle the Cheesemakers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. The Cheesemakers enter the challenge with a record of 8-6.
