North Carolina High School Softball - Queen's Grant can't get by Piedmont Community Charter

May 9, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28052

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) softball team held off the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), by a margin of 7-6.

With the triumph, Piedmont Community Charter moves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Friday, May 12. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 6-16. North Stokes won 6-1 in their recent non-league contest against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)
