St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Fighting Saints now sport a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Geneva for a DuKane challenge on Wednesday, May 10. St. Charles East will face a Vikings squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 7-18.

With the loss, Wheaton-Warrenville South falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-18. Waubonsie Valley won 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL)
