The Spartans now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Janesville Craig for a Big Eight challenge on Thursday, May 11. Vel Phillips Memorial will face a Cougars squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Madison West (Madison, WI). The Cougars record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Verona falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Middleton (Middleton, WI) to face the Cardinals in a Big Eight challenge on Wednesday, May 10.
