The Mustangs now hold a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carl Junction for a Class 5 District 7 outing on Wednesday, May 15. McDonald County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Nixa (Nixa, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-13.

In their next game, the Houn Dawgs battle the East Newton Patriots (Granby, MO) in a Class 4 District 11 test, on Saturday, May 11. Aurora will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 9-18 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Hollister (Hollister, MO).
