The Frederick Douglass Broncos baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Bryan Station Defenders to 1 in the Broncos league victory on Thursday.
The Broncos (18-8) will now prepare for their match against Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Flyers go into the non-league match with a 12-15 record. In their last match, Franklin County was overwhelmed by Woodford County (Versailles, KY), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Defenders (6-13) will now prepare for their match against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 19-12 record.
