Virginia High School Baseball - Indian River loses to Deep Creek

The Indian River Braves baseball team (Chesapeake, VA), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA)

The Hornets now hold a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Branch for a Southeastern outing on Tuesday, May 14. Deep Creek will confront a Bruins team coming off a 7-0 league win over Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 15-3.

Next, the Braves confront the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern outing, on Tuesday, May 14. Indian River will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 11-7 record after their 6-4 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA).
