In Thursday's league game, the host Gloucester Dukes baseball team scored a nice 17-0 victory over the Heritage Hurricanes.

The Dukes (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Wolverines come into the Peninsula contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Woodside was overwhelmed by Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA), 3-2, in a league contest.

The Hurricanes now sport a 0-16 record. They play next when they travel to King's Fork for a non-league contest on Friday, May 10. Heritage will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-14.
