In Thursday's league game, the visiting Paynesville Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Maple Lake Irish.
The Bulldogs (14-1) will now prepare for their game against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 0-11 record.
The Irish (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Royalton (Royalton, MN). The Royals go into the non-league game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Royalton was edged by Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN), 7-2, in a non-league game.
