Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting General Brown Lions (Dexter, NY), 11-5 in a league battle.

The Comets now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lowville for a Section 3 Frontier - A battle on Friday, May 10. Carthage will clash with a Red Raiders squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Thousand Islands/Lyme Central (Clayton, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-6.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the LaFayette/Onondaga Lancers (LaFayette, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 11. General Brown will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Lancers come into the battle with a 5-8 record after their 8-7 league loss to Westhill (Syracuse, NY).
