Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Crusaders now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nashoba Regional for a non-league battle on Friday, May 17.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett A battle, on Monday, May 13. North Middlesex Regional will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Colonials come into the battle with a 5-8 record after their 11-8 league loss to Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA).
