In Thursday's league contest, the Wolcott RVT Wildcats (Torrington, CT) softball team overwhelmed the host Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT), by a margin of 23-13.
With the triumph, Wolcott RVT moves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Platt RVT (Milford, CT) to play the Panthers in a Connecticut Tech contest on Saturday, May 11. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 2-3.
In their next game, the Wolverines play the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 13. Abbott RVT will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 8-7 league loss to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT).
