Oregon High School Softball - Seaside falls to Astoria

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Astoria Fishermen softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Seaside Seagulls.
Coming up next, the Fishermen battle the Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) in a 4A Cowapa outing, on Friday, May 10. Astoria will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 14-4 record after their 13-9 league win over Tillamook (Tillamook, OR).
The Seagulls (9-12) will now prepare for their outing against St. Helens (St. Helens, OR). The Lions enter the 4A Cowapa outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, St. Helens ran past Tillamook (Tillamook, OR), 18-0, in a league outing.
