Cedarburg Bulldogs (Cedarburg, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hartford Orioles (Hartford, WI), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Port Washington for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Cedarburg will face a Pirates squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Kettle Moraine Lutheran (Jackson, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 9-15.

With the loss, Hartford falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Orioles host Kettle Moraine (Wales, WI) to face the Lasers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 10. The Lasers come into the test with a record of 9-9. Kettle Moraine won 15-2 in their recent league test against Catholic Memorial (Waukesha, WI)
