The Hampshire Whip-Purs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Crystal Lake Central Tigers to 1 in the Whip-Purs league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Hampshire moves its record to 16-11 on the year. The Whip-Purs host Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, May 11. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 18-9.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 10. Crystal Lake Central will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 14-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL).
