In Thursday's league contest, the Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) softball team held off the visiting Dassel-Cokato Chargers (Cokato, MN), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Rockford moves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Rockets host Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN) to play the Panthers in a Wright County contest on Monday, May 13. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 11-4. Glencoe-Silver Lake won 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against Central (Norwood-Young America, MN)
In their next game, the Chargers play the Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN) in a Wright County contest, on Friday, May 10. Dassel-Cokato will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 11-1 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).
